St. Saviour High Schools reputation for educating young women is unsurpassed. We provide a rigorous education, one that is firmly grounded in the essentials but still allows the student to explore areas in which she has a particular interest. Below are some of St. Saviour’s academic highlights:
- 100% Regents and Advanced Designation Diplomas: In 2010-2011over 85% of St. Saviour graduates received an Advanced Designation Diploma, while 18% earned Advanced Designation with Honors

- Nine AP courses offered
- In 2010, 23 St. Saviour students took AP examinations in one or more of the following courses: English Literature, English Language, U.S. History, and European History. The average grade of the 23 students was 4.2 on a scale of 1 to 5.
- In 2010-2011, 27 St. Saviour students have been honored by the College Board for high scores on all their AP examinations. In 2011, one student received a perfect score on the Latin AP exam.
- In 2010-2011, Nine students were named AP Scholar with Honor for their success on four exams, while 11 students were named AP Scholar for success on three AP exams.
- St. John’s University “Bridge” Program: St. Saviour students may earn up to seven college credits in each of the following subjects: pre-Calculus, Calculus, French, Latin, and Spanish. (Many students also take courses at other colleges and universities, such as Cooper Union (engineering), NYU Polytechnic Institute (Math and Physics), and LIU (Liberal Arts). Many students also participate in special programs at Princeton, Notre Dame, Penn, Georgetown, American, and Fordham universities.
- Internships: Kings County Supreme Court; Brooklyn Museum; Brooklyn Public Library; area hospitals, and Brooklyn law firms.
