Caroline Adams ‘17 qualifies for the 2016 Junior Olympics

February 8, 2016

On March 12, Caroline Adams '17 will compete in the Junior Olympics for Swimming in the 100 Butterfly and 100 free style. Caroline has been swimming all year for her club team Richmond Aquatics at the JCC in Staten Island in addition to swimming at Saint Saviour. She practices 6 days a week and competes once month at various USA Swim meets around the area.

Since A champs was the same weekend as her club meet, Caroline knew she had to make her time at G.H.S.C.C. Swim Champs. Caroline actually swam a personal best time in the 100 fly at prelims going a 1:03.17 and qualified for JO's. The next day at Finals, she was in the last heat and had some great girls to swim against. She once again had an awesome race and managed to drop more time and got a 1:02.15. She also came in 5th place overall during finals.
