Physics Egg Drop Project

December 4, 2018

The students in the Physics Class designed and constructed a device to protect an egg during a free fall from various heights. We first tested the devices in the lab then in the courtyard for additional heights. Students were only allowed to use very specific materials and most of the eggs survived!  Megan's design used straws and rubber bands to create a pyramid shape. Angelique and Elisa used popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners.  Mina, Lily and Stella used a combination of popsicle sticks, straws and rubber bands.
