Students attended the Annual High School Chemistry Day at Brooklyn College on Friday, November 8. It is an event that celebrates National Chemistry Week and is sponsored by the Department of Chemistry of Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and the Brooklyn Subsection of the New York Section of the American Chemical Society. Activities included chemistry demonstrations, tour of research laboratory facilities, high school student awards ceremony, refreshments and a research talk. This year, ZhiHeng Mai received the outstanding chemistry student award.
