Summer Activities - Daniella Rodriguez ‘18

September 5, 2015

Daniella participated in the Leadership Ambassadors Program at Harvard University from July 21 to 28, thanks to a recommendation from Sr. Barbara. Daniella volunteered at the oldest running public school in the United States painting, repairing, and preparing the school for its upcoming school year.  She also visited the Hale Reservation in Massachusetts, toured the city of  Boston, and visited the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library.

Daniella worked on her own community service plan which she named NY Teens Together. Through the program, she was able to meet teens from around the world, as far as China, South Africa, and India. She enjoyed her indepence - staying in her own dorm room and exploring the town, making so many new memories. It was a great and cultural experience!
