Justine Peart '19 participated in the National Youth Leadership Forum in Engineering & Technology this past July at University of California, Berkeley via a nominatio by her 8th grade teacher. The program took place July 5 - 12, 2015 and Justine shared a dorm room with roommates. The program was international and she had the opportunity to meet other students across the country and around the world including Belgium & China.
Justine participated in robotics & circuit design workshops, lectures with industry leaders, and college tours including Stanford University. She also collaborated on a bioengineering project that developed a model for a prosthetic turtle limb.
