Summer Activities - Yao Jiang ‘16

Yao Jiang '16 spend three weeks during the summer of 2015 participating in the Museum of Natural History's summer science research program, specifically in coding and data related to geology. Among the many activities that the program offers, Yao particularly enjoyed the trip upstate NY to Black Rock Forest, where they learned to capture turtles to learn more about the landscape of the area. Yao will also participate in their fall program where she will join other high school students to work on specific project for the museum with potential to have the their research published and a earn a chance to receive a college scholarship.
