In Spring of 2015, the Speech Class of Saint Saviour High School Aryanna Myles, Haley Huie, Imani Ragguette, Dorianna Barrett, Sarah Shenhan, Kathleen Toussaint, Celeste Hernandez, all members of the Class of 2015, presented the White House with a framed photo of their speeches from their final debate policing in the United States. In February 2016, Saint Saviour received recognition for this via a letter of thanks from President Obama. Their moderator and chair of the English Department, Ms. Judith Caughey also received a letter from Mr. Obama with a message of hope and thanks for her years of service in education.
