Founded some 90 years ago under the aegis of an international teaching order headquartered in Rome, St. Saviour High School is among the pioneers in the education of young women. St. Saviour's college preparatory training is in the Judeo-Christian tradition and has long benefited many generations of upwardly mobile daughters of Kings County.
Located in Park Slope, the largest Landmark Brownstone Neighborhood in the
nation. St. Saviour is near Methodist Hospital, Barnes & Noble's bookstore, quaint shops, and restaurants. The school is also close to the Brooklyn Academy of Music
(B.A.M.), the Grand Army Plaza Main Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. St. Saviourites benefit from a remarkable urban setting.
The school offers Advanced Placement courses in eight areas: English Literature & Composition; English Language & Composition; American History; European History; Latin; Psychology; Calculus; and Chemistry. College Level courses are offered in conjunction with St. John's University in the following areas: Pre-calculus & Trigonometry; University Calculus; and French. In addition, Honors English, Math, Science, and Social Studies are offered in each of the four years.
